🤑 Below, please find details regarding eligibility and submission of proposals. We are treating this program as a living organism: we know we don't have the perfect answers, so we'll be experimenting and iterating based on what we see working (and not), and so these T’s & C’s are very much subject to change in future rounds.

Eligibility & Delivery
- You may submit as one individual or as a team of individuals.
- Grantees must be responsible for delivering on the idea; while they may outsource things like production, they must be integral to delivering on the proposal.
- Your proposal must be able to be completed given the allotted funding, unless otherwise outlined and agreed upon as part of the proposal process.
- Proposals must be executed within a 2 month period from being awarded.
Grant Details
- Proposals can be made for either $500, $1000 or $2000
- All payments will be made onchain via optimism to an eth address. Grantees are responsible for moving their funds offchain and considering their own tax implications — though Fancy will be available to consult for those who are not as embedded in web3.
- 50% of funds will be released at awarding, with the remaining 50% dispersed at final delivery as outlined in the proposal (this can change based on project needs)
Review & Voting Process
- All proposals will first be reviewed by the core community team. Fancy, Keels & Caitlin will vet the proposals for brief adherence and filter out those ineligible for the community vote.
- During the community voting process, proposals will be blind — which means that voters will not be able to see the proposer’s identity (though they will have been reviewed and vetted by the core team).
- Community voting will not be anonymous.
- As we’ve seen ups-and-downs with voting quantity/quality across our membership on previous proposals, for our first vote, community voting will serve as the #1 reference point for final distribution, but will not necessarily dictate it. Final decisions on distribution and allocation will be made by the core community team: Fancy, Keels & Caitlin. We’ll revisit this process in subsequent rounds!
- In this round, we will aim to distribute all of the $10,000+ However, if for any reason there is a lack of submissions or lack of quality submissions that fit the brief, we maintain the right to roll over the remaining funds into the next round at the discretion of the core community team (Fancy, Keels & Caitlin)
- In this case, all of the Community donations allocated will be distributed or returned to donations.
