While we love hackathons (our futurethon was epic) one of the biggest challenges we found was afterwards the momentum and energy fades. People move back into single player mode. We needed a new way to fund projects.
This is why briefs and funding pools were created, to continue on the momentum and give projects network effects outside of the hackathons and builders. Allowing the public to amplify their builds and do what they do best, continue building.
In addition to the brief, we offer 1 hour workshops with up to 100 participants focused on the what-if questions outlined in your brief.
These are hosted online so that you can invite and curate builders from across your network, and create an open and accessible event. Over the last 5 weeks, we’ve run five of these workshops inspiring hundreds of ideas related to our own briefs.
We also run a 2-4 weeks worth of comms around your brief and projects on the platform.
